Experiment in Democracy Ends

It lasted two hundred and twenty five years. It had a good run but a bumpy ride. It was dismantled five years ago and we are just beginning to catch on.

But it is over.

The United States Constitution is dead. May it rest in peace. George W. Bush and all the people who put him in power; from the Supreme Court to Katherine Harris to Diebold, Enron, Exxon and Haliburton and Congress have taken the most talked about document of the past two hundred years and turned it into useless recyclable parchment.

The President can do what he wants, when he wants and to who he wants.

Case closed.

Time to go home and wait for the knock on the door.

Goodnight America.
